Artist Application

Artists from across the country - do we have an opportunity of monumental proportions for you! Join the City of Charlottesville's creative placemaking efforts to beautify local commutes with roadside sculpture installations through the Art In Place 2016-17 exhibition, and enter for the chance to win a $1,500 stipend.

Art In Place sculptures aim to spread arts awareness by providing the community with a wide range of artistic styles, themes, and media. The best proposals will be unique, engaging, and special consideration will be given to submissions promoting Charlottesville's "A Green City" initiative.
