My work proposes that
sculpture can provide a focus for individual contemplation. This
personal vision is made manifest in IN-trospection.
I am particularly fascinated
by sacred spaces and the phenomenon of how architectural elements;
(altars, temples, mosques, sacred geometry, arabesque surfaces,
cathedrals, sanctuaries) heighten an individual's introspective
This is the spring board
for my architectonic forms which I synthesize into new spaces through
cast and fabricated metal. My manipulation of metal celebrates the
spirit of the material; enhancing the viewer's contemplative gaze.
